Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to support daily fresh meat operations in Michigan. You will assist in cutting beef, pork and grind, and help follow the production schedule to meet standards for advertised fresh cuts.

Responsibilities include writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and team members. Candidates should understand weights, safety procedures, inventory control, and use of CAO applications.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
