Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a meat department team member in Ohio. The role supports daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and ground products, following the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts. The person will assist with orders, deliveries, and uphold customer and team relations.

The ideal candidate brings familiarity with weights and measures in meat, safe handling, packaging experience, CAO usage, and a current handjack/hilo license. Inventory control experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes in meat.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in presenting and packaging meat products.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
