Job summary

Meijer is seeking a team member to assist in daily fresh beef, pork, and grind preparation in a meat department environment. You will follow production schedules and help fulfill advertised fresh meat cuts while maintaining quality standards and customer service.

The role emphasizes precise weights/measurements, safety, ordering accuracy, and collaboration with customers and fellow team members to ensure smooth department operations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
