Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a meat department team member to assist with daily fresh beef, pork, and grind cuts according to production schedules.

You will help write orders, organize deliveries, and support a positive customer and team environment in a fast-paced retail setting. The role requires familiarity with meat weights, safety protocols, and packaging standards, plus experience with ordering systems and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
