Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Indiana is seeking a meat department team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, and to follow production schedules to meet advertised meat cuts.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.

The role requires familiarity with weights and measures, safety procedures, product presentation, and inventory control, with a hand jack license preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
