Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

The role involves writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and upholding positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership. Candidates should be familiar with weights and measures, safety procedures, CAO applications, and hold a current hand

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
