Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat Department associate to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind and to follow the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

You will work closely with the team to ensure quality and presentation in our meat cases. The role requires familiarity with meat processing weights and measures, adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and ordering software.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes for meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
