Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrator to oversee the facility’s resident assessment process, ensuring PDPM and MDS activities meet all regulatory standards. You will coordinate interdisciplinary participation, supervise MDS coordinators, and drive timely, accurate documentation and care planning.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain continuing education/licensing requirements.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility weekly PDPM meetings for skilled patients.
• Tracks and monitors PDPM tools usage and performance.
• Monitors QM and QASP performance with data analysis and clinical recommendations.
• Provides PDPM and MDS training to new MDS Coordinators.
• Assesses health status and level of care for new admissions.
• Ensures timely completion of all MDS assessments and PPS Medicare events.
• Communicates level of care to all disciplines.
• Coordinates MDS completion within regulatory time frames and ensures documentation quality.
• Maintains schedule of all MDS assessments and reference dates.
• Responsible for data entry and electronic submission of MDS assessments.
• Verifies electronic submissions and maintains records.
• Schedules resident care conferences and ensures MDS reviews are complete.
