Villa Healthcare in Michigan seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to lead MDS assessments and care planning for residents. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliant documentation and accurate coding for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.

The role requires current RN licensure in Michigan, CPR certification, and strong skills in MDS processes, with prior SNF exposure preferred. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in the state; CPR certification required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities with MDS background preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and email systems; strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments per state and federal guidelines.
• Facilitate care planning with interdisciplinary team involvement and resident/family input.
• Ensure timely MDS completion and accurate documentation for reimbursement.
• Enter ICD-10 codes in accordance with guidelines to support billing and compliance.
• Participate in QA/QI activities and ongoing regulatory updates.
• Educate staff on MDS documentation practices and coding essentials.
