Villa Healthcare is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to join our team. You will lead MDS assessments, coordinate care plans with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure accurate documentation for compliant reimbursement.

The role demands RN licensure in the state, CPR certification, and SNF MDS experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a full-time, on-site position.

Formación

• MDS cycle knowledge for Medicare/Medicaid billing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and email systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and proactive.
• Ability to collaborate with all disciplines.
• Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English.
• Team-oriented with ability to participate in projects.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate MDS completion per state/federal requirements.
• Facilitate care planning with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Ensure timely MDS submissions and coding accuracy.
• Assist with weekly Medicare/QA meetings.
• Assign ICD-10 codes with physician guidance.
• Monitor resident status and initiate assessments as needed.
• Review hospital records for accurate MDS scoring.
• Support Medicare/Medicaid billing accuracy and compliance.
• Educate staff on MDS documentation practices.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and stay updated on regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
