Villa Healthcare is seeking an MDS Coordinator RN to oversee the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, MDS assessments, and care planning in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate documentation and appropriate reimbursement under Medicare/Medicaid, while promoting resident-centered care.

Competenze

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possesses a current RN license to practice in the State.
• Skilled Nursing facility experience as an MDS Nurse preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate completion of each resident's MDS in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate care planning with interdisciplinary team and family involvement.
• Ensure MDSs are completed in a timely manner.
• Assign ICD-10 codes to ensure compliance and accurate reimbursement.
• Educate staff on accurate MDS documentation practices.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and stay updated on regulations.
