Ideal candidates have RN/LVN licensure, 2+ years in a Skilled Nursing Facility, and deep knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS, Medicaid reimbursement, OBRA, and the MDS process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN/LVN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS, and Medicaid reimbursement; OBRA and MDS processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing and RN Assessment Coordinator to ensure documentation meets Federal, State, and Certification guidelines.
• Coordinate the RAI process ensuring timeliness and completeness of MDS, CAAs, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Participate in regulatory or certification survey processes and correct deficiencies.
• Report trends from audits to the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Ensure timely submission of MDSs to the State and maintain validation records.
