Job summary

Odelia Healthcare in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to oversee the RAI process and care management from admission to discharge, ensuring compliance with federal, state and certification guidelines.

You will coordinate interdisciplinary assessments, schedule MDS reviews, and maintain accurate documentation in the MDS programs, with guidance from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in-state is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS and Medicaid reimbursement.
• Understanding of OBRA regulations and MDS 3.0 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to assess resident needs.
• Schedule MDS assessments and care plan reviews per regulations.
• Coordinate daily stand-up meetings and review resident care.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state MDS procedures.
• Monitor MDS and care plan documentation in medical records.
• Maintain current MDS status per guidelines and data entry.
