Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a skilled Digital Systems Engineer who blends systems engineering, architecture, and technical project management across the lifecycle. You will lead MBSE activities, develop end-to-end traceability, and guide integration of engineering toolsets and data models.

You will apply model-based methods, drive risk management in system architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-fidelity, scalable solutions for sensitive defense programs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience developing architectural concepts, BDDS/IBDs, and MBSE configurations.
• Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler or No Magic tools.
• Experience writing template scripts to automate reports and docs in modeling environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering tasks in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent oral communication with capability to present to stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE to capture stakeholder requirements and establish end-to-end architecture traceability.
• Lead multi-discipline requirements/architecture working groups aligned with milestones.
• Develop and implement automated scripts for report automation and ICD generation.
• Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across the lifecycle.
• Identify and model risks within architectures to standardize tracking.
• Troubleshoot templates, validate syntax, ensure data consistency in model repos.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across matrixed organizations.
