Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a skilled Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, and technical Project Management. You will guide requirements definition, architecture working groups, and System Integration across the engineering lifecycle using MBSE principles.

You will leverage Cameo Systems Modeler and Velocity scripting to automate reports and generate ICDs, while driving risk management and interoperability across digital ecosystems. U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Master’s degree in aerospace or systems engineering with 2+ years’ experience, or bachelor’s with 4+ years in core systems engineering/architecture.
• Experience developing architectural concepts, BDDS/IBDs, and model-based configurations in Cameo or similar tools.
• Proven ability to build and apply template scripts (Velocity) for report automation and doc generation.
• Experience leading tasks and coordinating engineering work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE model space to capture stakeholder requirements and establish end-to-end architecture.
• Lead multi-discipline groups to align engineering development with milestones.
• Develop and implement automated scripts for report automation and ICD generation.
• Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across the lifecycle.
• Perform risk identification and modeling within architectures; standardize tracking.
• Troubleshoot templates and ensure data consistency in model repositories.
• Collaborate across matrixed organizations.
