Job summary

Ampact is hiring a Math Tutor for the Math Corps program. You will work at a local school with groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes, delivering math practice and returning them to class afterward. Training is provided to help you deliver proven activities and coach you through the process.

Responsibilities include leading sessions, tracking progress with the school coach, and entering scores in data software, while growing professionally through coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and apply feedback.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident; able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
