Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to support students at a local school. You will lead small-group sessions, track progress, and continue learning through coaching and training. Training will prepare you to deliver proven activities and help students build confidence.

We offer AmeriCorps stipends and education awards for the 2026-27 school year with daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Part-time options (27.5 or 20 hours) are also available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficient with basic email and online navigation.
• Dependable with a solid attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and adjust based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions with groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes.
• Follow a schedule to ensure students receive consistent support.
• Track student progress and meet with the school’s on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share tutoring experience with the community.
