Job summary
Math Corps, powered by Ampact, is seeking tutors to help students build math skills at local schools. You’ll lead small-group sessions, follow a daily schedule, and track progress with an on-site coach.
No strict math prowess required—we’ll train you and provide structured activities. You’ll gain coaching and training while supporting students’ growth, with part-time and full-time opportunities in a nationwide tutoring program.
Qualifications
- Dependable with a history of good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and act on feedback.
- Proficient with basic computer tasks such as email.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
- Able to complete a background check.
Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
- Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
- Track student progress and meet with the school's on-site coach.
- Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
- Commit to growth through coaching and training.
- Share your experience with the community.
