Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is hiring a Math Tutor for AmeriCorps service in U.S. schools. You'll guide small groups, deliver proven activities, and be paired with a school coach to track progress.

You'll tutor up to 3 students per session, 20–30 minutes each, Monday through Friday during the school day, with 35 hours per week and a two-week paycheck cycle. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share experience with the community.
