Job summary

Ampact, through Math Corps, is seeking Math Tutors to work at local schools supporting students with math skills. You will conduct small-group tutoring, follow a set schedule, and track progress with an on-site coach. Training and coaching are provided to help you grow in the role.

Ideal candidates are dependable, follow instructions well, and are fluent in English. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma and eligible to work in the United States; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States; able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
