Job summary

Math Corps is hosted by Ampact, a nationwide AmeriCorps program that partners with schools to provide tutoring. You’ll join as a Math Tutor to support students, with training provided and a supportive coach.

Positions run during the 2026-27 school year with 35 hours per week (full-time) or 25 hours (part-time). The AmeriCorps stipend is provided biweekly, and education awards may be earned. This on-site role emphasizes daily student engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and use feedback to improve.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent; U.S. residency or lawful status.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to support students.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
