Job summary

Math Corps, powered by Ampact, is hiring Math Tutors to support elementary and middle school students with focused 20–30 minute sessions. You'll work onsite at local schools, guiding groups of up to three students and tracking progress with the onsite coach.

No math wizardry required—training is provided. Positions include full-time AmeriCorps roles and part-time options (25 or 15 hours/week) with a biweekly stipend and benefits such as health insurance and education supports.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
Able to pass a background check.
Dependable with good attendance and reliable.
Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.

Responsibilities

Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
