Job summary

Math Corps, hosted by Ampact, is seeking a Math Tutor to support students in a school-based program. You’ll lead small-group tutoring (up to 3 students) for 20–30 minutes, track progress, and collaborate with an onsite coach.

We provide training, a predictable schedule August 2026–June 2027, daytime hours Monday–Friday, with part-time options at 20 hours/week. AmeriCorps members receive a biweekly stipend and benefits, including health insurance and student-loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and act on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
