Job summary

Nadia Care is seeking a full-time Maternity Navigator in the Memphis area to advocate for expectant and new mothers, bridging the healthcare system with the community. You will build trusted relationships and provide wrap-around support, from home visits to virtual engagements, to ensure a healthy, joyful pregnancy journey.

The role emphasizes education on prenatal and postpartum care, care navigation, and resource connections, working within a small but dynamic team with a strong community

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in community health, patient advocacy, or healthcare navigation as a CHW or CMA.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish to serve a diverse Memphis community.
• Strong listening and communication skills with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Meet mothers virtually and in-person, educating on urgent maternal signs, preeclampsia, and postpartum recovery.
• Educate on birth positions and breathing techniques to increase confidence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team and escalate clinical issues as needed.
