Job summary

Nadia Care is seeking a full-time Maternity Navigator to support expectant and new mothers in Greater Indianapolis, specifically Marion County. You will build trusted relationships, guide families through care navigation, and ensure access to essential social supports to enable a healthy, joyful pregnancy.

This role emphasizes empathy, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and a flexible schedule including occasional weekends. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community health, patient advocacy, or healthcare navigation as one of the listed certifications.
• Understanding challenges expectant mothers face; prenatal and postpartum health education.
• Excellent listening and communication with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent field work with team connectivity; valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• Access to internet at home and a device for documenting interactions in our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Meet mothers virtually and in-person, educating on urgent maternal signs and postpartum recovery.
• Educate on birth positions and breathing techniques to boost confidence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team; participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain clear documentation to ensure coordinated support for each mother.
• Build trusting relationships and provide support via call or messaging between visits.
• Connect families to community resources to overcome barriers like housing or transportation.
• Provide community insights to shape Nadia Care programs.
• Attend administrative meetings and follow policies to maintain high standards.
