Job summary

APS is seeking a Material and Services Coordinator in Casa Grande to coordinate ordering, scheduling, delivery and material management for construction and maintenance projects. You will identify shortages, prepare cost-tracking documentation, and support office functions as needed.

The role requires interfacing with multiple departments and external partners, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate data in MLIS, MAXIMO and related systems. onsite work in Casa Grande is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of construction practices/standards/specifications.
• APS accounting and inventory principles, procedures/systems.
• Familiarity with EMAN, MLIS, MAXIMO, Power Plant and MS Office.
• Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with people.
• Familiarity with materials and equipment used in the area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse and/ or Supply Chain to meet material demands.
• Prepare documentation to issue and receive material for contracts and track costs.
• Investigate and maintain accurate info in MLIS, MAXIMO and Peoplesoft databases.
• Monitor material requests and expedite critical materials to meet dates.
• Provide cost management information to management for budget goals.
• Initiate purchase and material requests for tools and equipment.
• Order rental equipment as required.
• Resolve material discrepancies for projects and journals.
