Job summary

Arizona Public Service in Phoenix seeks a Materials and Services Coordinator to ensure construction and maintenance projects have the materials, equipment, and resources needed, delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

You will partner with APS teams, suppliers, warehouses, contractors, and field personnel, providing training on MAXIMO and related systems, and you will help solve problems and keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced knowledge of Materials/Services Coordination and related systems.
• Math skills including basic algebra.
• Knowledge of contract procedures and construction/maintenance practices.
• Advanced knowledge of APS accounting and inventory systems.
• Experience with MAXIMO, Power BI, EPMS, and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal communication.
• Specialized knowledge of materials and equipment in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support for MAXIMO and related systems; ensure material demands are met.
• Plan, order, and ensure required materials are in the storeroom; track costs.
• Maintain MAXIMO and Decision Support data accuracy.
• Approve and expedite material requests to meet project dates.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Hauling, contractors, and Users for timely deliveries.
• Provide cost management information to assist in budgeting goals.
• Research and resolve material discrepancies; complete cost distribution journals.
• Interface with departments and contractors to resolve conflicts cost-effectively.
