Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Chandler, AZ to support material planning and coordination. This onsite contract role focuses on implementing the Material Management Plan and ensuring timely delivery of materials for work packages.

You will work closely with Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls to optimize material identification, storage, and procurement processes. The role requires experience with vendor materials, documentation, and field purchasing.

Qualifications

• Experience with vendor materials, tools, and safety material used in construction.
• Proficiency with documentation paperwork requirements for receiving.
• Strong automation skills and quick learning of DSCS and similar apps.
• Knowledge of material storage and handling of equipment.
• Understanding field purchasing functions and supplier coordination.
• Experience with rental agreements and administration.
• Experience in work packaging materials for construction planning.
• Ability to organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Material Management Plan and coordinates materials with Engineering and Construction.
• Optimizes materials planning processes for key commodities.
• Ensures consistent material identification and defined responsibilities.
• Identifies approval requirements impacting engineering deliverables.
• Coordinates with Engineering on data needed from suppliers.
• Assists in component numbering per project plans and automation.
• Verifies requisitions detail pay items and storage/transport specifics.
• Identifies potential delays in engineering deliverables affecting material work.
• Maintains close relations with Project Controls, Engineers, Supply Chain, and Construction.
• Monitors schedules to ensure alignment with the construction timeline.
