Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a qualified Material and Services Coordinator to ensure materials, equipment, and resources meet project needs. You will collaborate with APS teams, suppliers, warehouses, contractors, and field personnel to maintain safety, efficiency, and schedules while representing APS through teamwork and accountability.

The role emphasizes coordinating materials in construction and maintenance projects, optimizing processes, and delivering reliable energy to communities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced knowledge and expertise in Materials / Services Coordination activities and computer systems.
• Math skills including basic algebra.
• Good working knowledge of contract procedures and construction/maintenance standards.
• Advanced knowledge of APS accounting and inventory systems.
• Advanced expertise using MAXIMO, Power BI, EPMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical support for MAXIMO, Decision Support, and APS accounting systems; coordinate with warehouse to meet material demands.
• Maintain accurate MAXIMO and Decision Support data for equipment and materials.
• Approve material requests for projects and expedite critical materials to meet schedules.
• Identify shortages and coordinate expediting to avoid delays; liaise with warehouse, transporters, and field personnel.
• Provide cost management information to help meet budget goals.
• Perform special projects on warehouse and inventory issues as requested by management.
• Investigate material discrepancies and ensure proper cost distribution.
• Interface with departments/contractors to resolve conflicts cost-effectively.
