Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator Professional for Life Sciences North America (LSNA) to oversee material control for major capital equipment on multi-million dollar projects. You will coordinate material transactions and ensure alignment with project goals.

Based in the United States with potential site work, the role reports to the Manager of Material Control and collaborates with the Project Procurement Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 4+ years of experience in capital equipment field material control, or warehouse materials management
• Experience supporting Biopharmaceutical / Life Sciences projects or similar industrial environments preferred
• Fluency in English and Spanish (required), with the ability to support local and global stakeholders
• Experience using Materials Management / ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Smart Materials, etc.) preferably

Responsibilities

• Oversee material management aspects of purchased major capital equipment and materials for mid to large-sized projects (Total Installed Cost of $50M - $750M)
• Apply knowledge and methodologies to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions
• Act as dedicated lead on projects with accountability for team members and ongoing activities or objectives
• Coordinate Material Control transactions associated with purchased complex materials/equipment as assigned
