Job summary

Jacobs, a global engineering leader, seeks a driven Construction Project Manager for Life Science North America in Houston. You will oversee complex projects, manage budgets, schedules, and safety, and coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver on time and within scope.

With 10+ years of experience in life science construction, you will drive project controls, QA/QC, and procurement while leading diverse teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years leading construction projects in industrial/commercial facilities; life science preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, budgeting, scheduling and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite inspections, field administration, and site coordination with contractors.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and manage official project documentation.
• Review submittals, drawings, material certifications and support turnover.
• Ensure design specs, drawings, and QA/QC standards are met throughout.
• Oversee project controls, procurement strategies, and schedule management.
• Close out projects with accurate records and client satisfaction.
