Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a driven Construction Project Manager for the Life Science North America (LSNA) group based in Richmond, VA. You will oversee construction projects for world-class life science facilities, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and the client to deliver on time and on budget.

You have 8+ years of life science construction experience and a strong background in project controls, scheduling, and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in managing construction projects in life science/industrial settings.
• Experience with project controls, procurement, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite activities including inspections and field administration tasks.
• Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain official project documentation and logs.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and project deliverables.
• Ensure construction aligns with design specs and drawings.
• Manage project budgets and schedule progress.
• Closeout project records to client satisfaction.
