Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Subcontracts Manager for Life Sciences North America to contract major construction services on large projects (200M–750M) and lead a team of subcontract administrators. You will coordinate with Project Procurement Manager and Core project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years in EPCM, with biopharma/Life Science project experience preferred. Hybrid work model and 10–20% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of experience in an EPCM construction contracting environment.
• Experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred.
• Travel - 10-20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• As a Subcontracts Lead, develop upfront procurement planning activities and SMEP sections.
• Manage a team of subcontract administrators and prioritize packages and interfaces.
• Use critical thinking to maximize subcontracting efficiency on projects.
• Coordinate procurement of subcontracted services and administer agreements and change orders.
• Review subcontract invoices and ensure payment aligns with terms.
