Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer (Material Flow) to design and optimize material flow for all programs, from receipt to lineside. You will apply lean principles, conduct data analytics, and manage projects to meet Starship production goals.

You will lead layout planning, packaging optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure safe and cost-efficient operations at Starbase in Hawthorne, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years in manufacturing/engineering with material flow focus.
• Experience leading projects in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize material flow from receipt to lineside.
• Plan warehouse/layouts to achieve target inventory density.
• Develop resource models and conduct time studies for efficiency.
• Create cost-effective packaging and rack flow solutions.
• Analyze data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Lead safety training and ensure regulatory compliance.
