Job summary

POET in Fairmont, NE is seeking a Material Handler to load dried distillers' grains, ethanol, corn oil, and other products. You will operate heavy machinery, read meters, and use software to ensure timely delivery and product safety.

Training provided may include grading grain products or biomass and performing preventive maintenance. This on-site role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Material Handler I: No experience required.
• Material Handler II: Documented successful performance as a Material Handler I or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with heavy machinery and loading/unloading preferred.
• DOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and rail cars with feed and fuel products to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with grain product or biomass unloading functions.
• Grade grain products or biomass using training provided.
• Operate large machinery and equipment; may require DOT certification.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.
