Indmar Marine Engines in Millington, TN is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to load, unload and move engines and materials using a sit-down forklift. You will help with washing, uncrating engines and preparing parts for production.
Responsibilities include staging and loading trucks, minor assembly, crane/hoist operation, and maintaining safety with adherence to RCRA and DOT guidelines. Prior forklift experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Utilizes forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload and move engines/materials within warehouse and production areas. This position is responsible for parts and engine washing, uncrating engines and disposing of dunnage.
Work environment is generally in a warehouse setting which is not heated/air conditioned. Some exposure to the outside elements on occasion.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Safety glasses; rubber boots, apron and hearing protection when pressure washing; Must wear forklift seatbelt while operating. This position performs hazardous waste management activities regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA-40 CFR 265.16) and Department of Transportation (49 CFR). The following tasks include, but are not limited to the generation, handling, labeling, inspection, and emergency response. Properly identify and characterize hazardous waste generated in assigned work areas. Place hazardous waste into approved containers. Ensure hazardous waste containers are closed except when adding or removing waste, labeled with the words "Hazardous Waste". Marked with appropriate DOT/GHS hazard indicators and their accumulation start dates, along with ensuring that hazardous waste materials are in their proper packing. Conduct and document hazardous waste container inspections in assigned areas. Offering hazardous waste to an approved Treatment & Storage Disposal transportation company. Act as Emergency Coordinator or emergency response support personnel.
