Job summary

Indmar Marine Engines in Millington, TN is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to load, unload and move engines and materials using a sit-down forklift. You will help with washing, uncrating engines and preparing parts for production.

Responsibilities include staging and loading trucks, minor assembly, crane/hoist operation, and maintaining safety with adherence to RCRA and DOT guidelines. Prior forklift experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of forklift operation in manufacturing.
• Experience with safe, accurate material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to load/unload and move engines and materials.
• Remove engines from trailers and place in storage areas.
• Retrieve engines per OEM orders and load trucks.
• Pair transmissions and stage on pallets for production.
• Stack engines for overseas containers and ensure proper loading.
• Minor assembly on uncrated engines using hand/power tools.
• Pressure wash engines; manage waste and cleanup as needed.
• Operate Spot Tractor to move trailers and deliver parts.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
