Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, ensuring work is done right the first time. You will follow safety policies, complete required training, and participate in VIP’s 5-for-5 customer engagement process. ASE certifications and state inspections are part of the role.

You will work 40 hours per week, maintain productivity standards, and collaborate with management to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
• Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and effectively
• Diagnose automotive problems and recommend solutions
• Interpret, understand, and apply written/oral/diagram/schedule instructions
• Able to perform the automotive services listed in duties

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as Priority #1 and follow safety policies
• Provide automotive diagnosis, repair and maintenance services for all systems
• Initiate Service Work Orders before service and keep them displayed with the vehicle
• Complete MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process
• Return all service printouts and keys to the desk after service
• Procure parts from the Desk Team and return unused parts after service
• Return cores, batteries and tires to designated areas for proper handling
• Maintain productivity targets and ensure quality work first time
• Complete required training and certifications for the position
• Follow VIP processes and participate in team meetings
