Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and repair on automotive systems, ensuring safety, quality, and first-time correct work. You will lead with ASE-based training, participate in customer engagement, and maintain strict service processes.

The role emphasizes meeting productivity targets, following VIP safety and environmental policies, and advancing technical certifications to support customer satisfaction and shop efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of related automotive service experience.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program is recommended.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and follow all safety policies.
• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems per ASE A1–A8 scope.
• Initiate and display a Service Work Order before servicing a vehicle.
• Complete MPI and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to the Desk Team and secure cores/tires as required.
• Maintain productivity targets and follow VIP quality standards.
• Train and certify as required, including ASE certifications for the position.
