Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, perform parts and fluids service, and uphold VIP safety and quality standards.

You will follow VIP processes, complete service work orders, and maintain productive daily output while delivering a high level of customer care. The role requires ASE certifications (A1–A8 as applicable), valid state inspections, and ability to work 40 hours per week in a non-exempt, hourly position.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze and apply technical instructions and regulations.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and team.
• Diagnose automotive issues and recommend solutions.
• Follow instructions and perform services listed above.
• Maintain ASE certification status as required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workplace safety and follow all safety policies.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems per ASE standards.
• Initiate and display a valid Service Work Order during service.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 customer engagement process.
• Return unused parts to the Desk Team and manage cores/tires properly.
• Maintain productivity targets and keep work area clean and organized.
• Participate in trainings and maintain certifications as required.
• Support VIP quality service policies and regulatory compliance.
