Job summary

You will complete Service Work Orders, obtain parts through the Desk Team, and pursue ASE certifications while maintaining productivity and quality standards. The position follows a 40-hour week with non-exempt hourly classification.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to successfully perform required types of automotive services listed above.

Responsibilities

• Makes safety priority #1 and follows safety policies and training.
• Provide automotive systems diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for customers (A1–A8 ASE areas).
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed with the vehicle during service.
• Complete MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Obtain needed parts from Desk Team and return unused parts after service.
• Maintain a 16-week productivity average per role (Technician 80%, ASE Tech 90%, Master Tech 100%).
• Keep shop safe, clean, and compliant with VIP quality standards.
• Complete training and certification requirements for the position.
