Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on automotive systems in a safety-first environment. The role requires adherence to VIP processes, proper service documentation, and participation in the 5-for-5 customer engagement process.

Master Technicians maintain high standards, complete necessary training, and ensure work is done right the first time. The position requires knowledge of ASE areas (A1–A8) and the ability to work with Service Managers and

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field.
Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
State Vehicle Inspector license or eligibility desired.
ASE certifications G1/A4/A5 recommended; Master level ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Place emphasis on workplace safety as priority #1 and follow all safety policies.
Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for automotive systems including ASE-listed areas.
Ensure a valid Service Work Order is created and displayed during service.
Complete MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
Obtain parts from Desk Team and return unused parts after service completion.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and shop equipment.
