Job summary

HDR is seeking a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to join our West Region team in Southern California, focusing on power, solid waste, and industrial markets. You will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials that showcase our engineering capabilities.

As a key member of the marketing group, you will coordinate with business development leaders, project managers and technical staff to prepare proposals and qualifications, manage CRM data, and support events and sponsorships.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Marketing or A/E/C industry experience preferred.
• Self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Ability and desire to engage with others in-person.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations with teams.
• Lead proposal team meetings and interview prep for messaging.
• Write and edit marketing proposals; coordinate graphics and layout.
• Support planning, research, and data management for client development.
• Maintain CRM data, resumes, project descriptions, and photos.
• Organize conference attendance, sponsorships, and events.
• Perform other duties as needed.
