Job summary

JMT is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support Pursuits and Proposals. This role focuses on proposal support, document formatting, administrative marketing tasks, and coordinating business development materials. Graphic design skills with Adobe Suite are preferred.

Immigration sponsorship is limited to TN visa eligibility. This position offers office-based work with potential transition to a hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field (or equivalent)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with databases or CRMs and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily review of client procurement websites to identify marketing leads and opportunities
• Daily data entry of leads, opportunities, and information into the CRM database
• Data entry and oversight of Open Asset (digital asset management)
• Clerical support for the Marketing Department
• Assist with drafting, formatting, editing and packaging of pursuits

Marketing Assistant - Pursuits / Proposals

Position Summary: JMT is seeking a highly organized, diligent, enthusiastic, and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our regional and corporate staff with their daily operations. The selected candidate will be highly punctual, able to learn technical terminology, communicate in a concise, collaborative manner.
Please Note: This is not a digital marketing position. This role does not include social media management, content creation, website management, SEO, digital advertising, or digital marketing campaigns. The primary focus of this position is proposal support, document formatting, administrative marketing support, and coordination of business development materials. Graphic design skills and experience are preferred.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Daily review of client procurement websites and related systems to identify marketing leads and opportunities
• Daily data entry of leads, opportunities, and other information into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database system
• Data entry and oversight of Open Asset (JMT's digital asset management photo database)
• Clerical support for the Marketing Department
• Assist with drafting, formatting, editing and packaging of pursuits

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Databases
• Prior experience in the Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management Industry
• Working knowledge of graphic design and experience with Adobe Suite products (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Subject to successful onboarding, consistent performance, and supervisor approval, this position may transition to a hybrid work arrangement, with the selected candidate expected to work at a JMT office location at least 3 days per week, as needed, to perform assigned duties.
