Job summary
Coinbase is seeking a Specialist, Market Operations, to provide frontline support for CDE and Deribit, ensuring smooth trading, clearing, and connectivity. You will troubleshoot issues, coordinate cross-functional resolutions, and assist with deployment testing to protect production environments.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in IS, Economics, Finance, or a technical field and at least 1 year in financial markets operations or technical operations, with multi-channel support
Qualifications
- BA/BS with 1+ years in financial markets operations or technical operations.
- Demonstrated product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options.
- Ability to diagnose and articulate complex technical problems to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience delivering multi-channel support (voice, email, chat).
Responsibilities
- Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading and exchange applications (CDE/Deribit).
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality and market events.
- Provide front-line support for investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis.
- Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products and perform deployment testing.
- Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges.
- Identify and document operational process improvements aligned with growth.
