Sazerac Company in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive off-premise volume for our spirits brands across a defined territory. You will craft growth solutions, lead distributors, and use data analytics to hit distribution and promotional goals while building strong retailer relationships.

As a field sales role, you will manage programs, collaborate with retailers, and travel within the territory to maximize brand impact and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results and identify trends.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Ability to personally cover ordinary business expenses with reimbursement.
• Compliance: Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft and manage growth solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and increase market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Aim to achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs for distribution, merchandising, and retail promotions.
• Build rapport and collaborate with customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure ongoing goal attainment.
