Job summary

Quick Plug seeks a Market Development Associate to help grow our sales pipeline across energy, construction, and environmental markets. You will research opportunities, qualify leads, and support the Sales and Marketing teams with data-driven insights and presentation materials.

The role emphasizes CRM usage, data organization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive revenue. Remote work is supported; occasional field activities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Experience interpreting project plans and bid cycles.
• Proficiency in using CRM to enter and track projects.
• Experience using lead pursuit resources such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Lynda.
• 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, direct sales, B2B sales, or business development.
• Experience utilizing AI tools, automation programs such as Zapier, or bid tracking software such as Isqft, Dodge Reports, or Construct Connect Insight.
• Fast learner in existing technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify decision-makers and stakeholders in construction projects.
• Qualify prospects and route leads to Sales teams with project detail.
• Follow up on qualified leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Articulate value of hydroseeding and erosion control solutions to stakeholders.
• Maintain lead conversions and project tracking in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Improve workflows using Microsoft Office, Dynamics 365, and Claude AI.
• Present regional updates on projects and leads.
• Build PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Engage with customers and prospects to nurture relationships.
• Travel up to 25 days for events and meetings.
