Job summary

Cultivate is seeking a Business Development Associate for an exciting remote opportunity to support the early stages of the sales pipeline. You will research industry trends, prospect targets, and nurture relationships with large global enterprises in pharma and tech.

The role requires strong CRM discipline and effective, consultative communication. You will coordinate discovery meetings, assist with proposal materials, and help move opportunities through Salesforce from Nurture to Discover.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, or similar B2B role.
• Experience conducting personalized outbound prospecting and account research.
• Strong experience using Salesforce or another enterprise CRM.
• Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional business writing skills.
• Experience qualifying leads and scheduling meetings for senior sales executives.
• Ability to research organizations, identify decision-makers, and tailor messaging.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for client-facing presentations and proposals.
• Excellent note-taking and documentation during client meetings.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Slack, and other productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns.
• Research target organizations, decision-makers, and industry trends.
• Build and nurture relationships through multi-channel outreach.
• Manage outreach sequences and follow-ups to keep priority accounts engaged.
• Identify market signals and trigger events that create opportunities.
• Conduct initial qualification conversations to understand client needs.
• Advance opportunities through early Salesforce pipeline stages.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and reports.
• Track outreach performance and pipeline activity for leadership.
• Coordinate with internal teams to maintain Salesforce data quality.
