Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to drive end-to-end software for autonomous maritime systems. You will contribute to autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration and off-board C2 across marine platforms.

The role requires broad software-stack expertise, strong problem solving, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Travel up to 20%; U.S. Secret clearance eligibility expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
• Systems and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design and system design.
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to work across the software stack and lifecycle from design to sustainment.
• Ability to act as the technical owner for a software service with stakeholders and roadmaps.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and build team capacity.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder setting.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, prioritizing value delivery.
• Design scalable software with an evolvable architecture and capability path.
• Develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop software for on- and off- robotic platforms using diverse technologies.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment through software lifecycle processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20%.
