Job summary

MarineMax Brand is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Service Manager, team, and customers. You will coordinate boat repair work, ensure timely completion, and provide clear instructions to technicians. You will interact with customers, promote labor and parts, and manage the work orders from intake to invoicing.

Ideal candidates will excel in scheduling, communication, and collaborating with manufacturers and warranty entities to ensure smooth approvals and payment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist service manager in daily operations, scheduling work for technicians and yard team.
• Use manufacturer flat rate guides and SSOs to determine time allotted for work.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and/or extended warranty companies for approvals.
• Greet customers and determine needs, providing clear work-order instructions.
• Promote additional labor services, parts, and accessories in a professional manner.
• Obtain customer signatures and collect payment before releasing boats.
• Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on sublet contractors.
• Inspect quality of work prior to delivery.
• Communicate with customers during repairs and coordinate pickup.
• Finalize and invoice work orders; provide timely paperwork flow.
